Elddis caravan porch light bulb blown cant remove cover

As you enter the unit through the door, it should be right there, most units can be reached before you step into them. There should be 2 or 3 switches. One for the light under the step, one for the porch and one for an interior light (kitchen/LR). If you have only 2 switches, the step light and porch light will be on the same circuit. If you have switches but nothing turns on/off, most likely a blown fuse and/or bad light bulbs. Using a multimeter to check for electricity (12VDC) in the bulb socket and at the fuses can be done to check those.

Steve, A picture would help but maybe this will help. Most porch light lens have three tabs if oval or maybe four if rectangular. Push the edge at the bottom up and look closely. If it is old it may need gentle help from a wide blade like your wife's OLD kitchen knife. Careful, it is probably brittle. It may have been mounted upside down so try the top, too.

Check that the fuse is not blown and that there is no wiring fault. Otherwise check that the lights are not blown as well, and look at the following YT video to illustrate the removal of the light:

I think you're referring to the bulb which is not working. You have to remove the cover from the microwave to gain access to the bulb. Replacements can usually be found at appliance repair shops or stores and electrical or lighting supply stores.

open your rear hatch and there will be a couple bolts holding your whole light assy in from the inside.....very easy fix

check all bulbs,inspect sockets for corrosion,rust ,or sighns of overload.follow wires and check connectors if all good ,replace the flasher ,,if that doesnt fix it ,the blinker switch in the steering coulmn would be next

COOKTOP/NIGHT LIGHT REPLACEMENT

CAUTION

1. Unplug the oven or turn off power at the main power supply.
2. Remove the bulb cover mounting screws.
3. Replace bulb with 40 watt appliance bulb.
4. Replace bulb cover, and mounting screws.
5. Turn the power back on at the main power supply.

OVEN LIGHT REPLACEMENT

1. Unplug oven or turn off power at the main power supply.
2. Open the door.
3. Remove the vent cover mounting screws. (3 middle screws)
4. Slide the grille to the left, then pull straight out.
5. Remove the charcoal filter, if present.
6. Press and hold the center snap while lifting the tab on the left corner. Remove the cover. Remove
the bulb by turning gently.
7. Replace bulb with a 40 watt appliance bulb.
8. Replace the bulb holder.
9. Replace the grille and 3 screws. Turn the power back on at the main
power supply.

earth is making contact with the live at the bulb holder.remove and check.Make sure you have the right bulb in it.then replace the blown fuse.

Have you checked your fuses? If it is not a fuse then take a flathead and gently pry the cover off, remove light and take with you to parts store for replacement comparison, replace light same way other came out and replace cover. Check your owners manual for specific fuse locations.
