Press menu then start mono (b/w) then 4x arrow-up-button. Machine will be in maintenance-mode: What error code does the display show off?

AF means that the scanner flatcable isnt connected. Check connection to pcb. Flatcable must be in good position (simply stick it onto the pcb).

Why won't my Franke flair machine won't run only says please wait.is there a reset switch ?

there is no reset switch, please wait on the display indicates the machine is heating . but the sensors are not registering the temp. this means either the thermoblock/s have failed (unlikely) there are upto 4 thermal fuses mounted on the thermoblocks . this is more likely the problem. any more info required please et me know

Start/Pause light flashing but machine won't start

Unplug machine and wait a few minutes and replug it in again! This usually resets the computer on the washer but be prepared if it happens on a regular basis you may need to call a qualified repairman that can troubleshoot the problem!

Overload message on my janome 8000

I know you said you have performed the reset sequence, but try these steps and see if the unit goes through the diagnostics correctly.
1

  • Turn off your Janome MC8000. Wait for a few seconds.

2
  • Press and hold the "Start," "Reverse" and "Auto lock" buttons at the same time.

3
  • Release the three buttons once your Janome MC8000 turns on.

4
  • Locate the plus (+) sign on the machine screen. Press the plus sign when prompted. Wait till you receive a message that says "Test Complete."

5
  • Turn off the Janome MC8000. Wait for a few seconds.

6
  • Turn on the Janome MC8000 once again. This will prompt the embroidery machine to conduct a diagnosis. Wait till it finishes the diagnosis and troubleshoots the errors you were encountering before.

Unplug the device, wait for 30 seconds, and plug it back in to see if it resets the device. Make sure you wait the full 30 seconds.

I am getting a message "maintenacne required code:dk"

DK means the black drum has reached its maintenance life - 50k copies. you need to buy an ARC26DU drum unit. The drum counter will need to be reset after its installed.
here is a starting point : http://electronics.pricegrabber.com/fax-copier-supplies/Sharp-ARC26DU-Developer-Toner-Drum-Cartridges/m12754437.html

HI, donot worry is not big problem, first of all open the Dp(Document processor which means the document feeder) and check if there is any paper or anything stucking there, if you sure there is nothing, you have to go into maintenance mode of the machine and reset this message, donot worry i will show you how step by step:
first of all press status buttom from the operation panel, then hit 1087 twice it will take you to maintenance mode, then hit 906 and hit start, u will see word on the screen highlight it and then press start, it will take seconds and will tell you to put the machine on and off, so then you have to press the main power buttom off and then on, hope this will fix your problem, let me know if you face any other problem. thanks for joining fixya.

The led screen shows genera error

you need to reset your printer try doing this
  • Press and hold “Stop”, “Maintenance”, and “Power” buttons for about 10 seconds. A message will come on the screen saying counter is reset and to turn the printer off. The R200 and others don’t have a screen so just wait until the 10 seconds is up.
  • Turn the printer off, unplug the power cord. Wait about 1 minute and power the printer back up. The counter will be reset. That’s all there is to the reset procedure.
