Wireless problem. it's conected, but limited. no internet connections. my operating system is vista

Generally you get this indication when your system has auto-assigned itself a APIPA IP addres (Automatic Private Internet Protocol Address) where the system was unable to get an IP address from the DHCP server.
To resolve, right click the wireless network connection, Click Troubleshoot Problems to Diagnose and Repair the connection

I'm having trouble setting my laptop up to work on my wireless network at home. It says that it's disconnected. How do I resolve that?

1 make sure wireless is on the laptop.
2. make sure your wireless router is brodcasting the signal.
3 search for your wireless router with the laptop.
4. if it finds it click conect.
5. if it ask for a wep key you must then find this on a computer conected to the wireless modem. it will be inside the modem configuration page.
6 enter key and press conect.

hard to explain it all but try that, or give me your msn or skype and ill talk you though it.

Cant conect to internet using wirles with Windows Vista

Hi,

This method will hard reset the wireless drivers back to default settings, but before you perform this remove power from the modem and router for 2 minutes reconnect power and wait another 2 minutes for them to settle down.

Right click "computer" select "manage" and then "device manager", a list will populate, then click on the + sign next to "network adapters" and right click on the wireless adapter and "uninstall" the device, reboot the PC and wait for windows to detect the wireless card and install the drivers for it, this will appear in the system tray (bottom right hand side) when its done try to connect again.

Good luck.

My dink wireless router is not work propely beause he cant pass internet coneection properly if i conect my internet through dsl cable and dricet then no promble with my internet wht i do now

I had a similar problem. D-Link could not resolve it over the phone. Firmware update didn't help. D-Link would not admit that the unit might be defective, so I could not resolve the issue. Recommendation: never buy D-Link again.

Keep losing conection from wii to my belkin router

It's a wireless interference problem. To resolve that, you must change the router's wireless channel by logging in to the router's admin page http://192.168.2.1 you can change it under the Wireless tab. Set the channel to 11 and save the changes. Try to power cycle the router after that.

Hi there:)

TRY THIS:

call in your provider to change the ssid and the network key

[all computers will be disconnected]

and then try to reconnect them one by one to the new ssid or network name

this should resolve the issue

always make sure that the wireless properties are okay and the same as the router

also check the device manager: network adapters if they are properly installed and no errors on the icon for the adapters. for windows OS[]
