The Dell QuickSet utility Wireless options can cause these issues.

There is a setting to always deactivate on battery. Make sure this is not set up. The correct setting would be Always active on battery or Always On, or no power saving options for Wi-Fi. Depending on the version of QuickSet which you have.

It is known to glitch when power is removed from the machine while the wireless is in use.

Please let us know if you have any futher questions. If this information was helpful, please take a moment to rate the solution. Thank you.

Not the Catcher Utility. Sorry, I should have specified.

In the QuickSet utility, you will see an option called Internal Network Card Power Management. This is where you need to make the change to "Always Active On Battery"

Depending on your version, you may need to check the Radio Control options to assure that the method you are using to enable your Wireless Radio is actually configured.

Here's a picture of both of those options I was speaking of:

...Once these settings are configured, you should get a bubble that says Wireless Network Radio On, Or Wireless Card Enabled.

Then you can begin using your Catcher, or configure it so that you use the Windows Wireless utility. This is your choice, based on your preference.

When i am satrting my wireless on my dell vostro 1510 ... At that time it's only shows bluetooth symbole.... so who can i start my wireless.. in it ..Help me........... My Laptop vostro 1510.....

It sounds like you do not have the driver or the support software for your WiFi adapter installed.
At the Dell Support web site, you can download the appropriate Networking drivers and support software.
Once you've done this, you should see a WiFi utility in the tray with the Bluetooth symbol.

Dell vostro 1510 bluetooth

Internal Bluetooth card, service manual link: http://support.dell.com/support/edoc....htm#wp1179838
Make sure you have the correct drivers installed for your OS and make sure that both wireless and bluetooth are enabled in the system setup. To do this, boot into the system setup by rebooting your computer and tapping on F2. On the left pane, look for Wireless (navigate using the arrow keys) then hit Enter, then navigate to bluetooth, make sure the setting is set to ENABLED (complete instructions for navigations and options selections should be illustrated on the lower portion of the setup screen). Once ENABLED, reboot into your OS and go into to control Panel open the bluetooth icon, make sure your external Bluetooth device (phone/smartphone, etc.) is set to discovery. Search for the device to see if it is detected.

The Bluetooth Icon will appear in the systray (lower right corner of your desktop task bar. Right click on that icon and then select the option you need. Make sure you enter the same device code in both the laptop and the device you want the computer to connect to. Hope this helps FixYa! Leave some feedback and a testimonial if you find these instructions helpful.

Boot to the system BIOS and ensure that a Bluetooth card is actually installed and seen by the system. I'm pretty sure bluetooth is a option on the 1510 and you may not have a BT card.
