Dvd player does not load nor spin

Tru tech portable dvd that is less than 2 yrs old and has been playing well until today. i plugged it in and instead of indicating that it was loading it did nothing. it will not spin or anything. please help.

I have had the same problem and have had my machine about 2 years as well. I sometimes get it to work by turning it on and immediately hitting the root menu button (second button upper left). When that fails I instead hit the play button while it is loading. I have also tilting the player while it is loading with some positive results. Also slight shaking of player has helped while it was loading. Also I have had some help to open and close the disc drive to get it to load. I now have exhausted these techniques and just keeping hitting power on, it says loading, then shuts off again, so I keep doing it. I now often get the "wrong disc" error. It is EXTREMELY maddening, but I don't want to buy another player. I have played the power on, shuts off, power on game for up to two hours! I have wondered if it is a temperature thing (too warm?) that it doesn't want to load, but it WILL notice if I don't put in a disc ("no disc"). ANY FURTHER HELP would be much appreciated.

I have a digital labs model K715 dvd player. when i put a disc in, it spins, screen say its loading but will spin, stop, spin and stop again. Wont play the disc.

Try doing the following...

Making sure the "line select" has been switched from "in" instead of "out". Once you switch it back to "out", the player should work normally.

My Tru Tech portable dvd player is only a year old and just quit working. When you insert a dvd, it comes up with it's typical, ''loading''. Instead of going to the movie it just satays on the loading...

It's a wonder that DVDs (or even CDs) are read at all; the positioning mechanisms reading them have to deal with millionths of an inch precision and anything can upset the alignment of them.
You might try cleaning the path of the laser with a simple 'cleaning disk' you can buy at electronics outlets. They are not expensive (<$10 US) and can sometimes restore operation by removing dust from the light path. If this doesn't help, I'm afraid you have just another Chinese dumpster item since the repair costs will likely exceed the replacement cost.

Tru-tech protable DVD doesn't charge.

Check out or Google "Batteries Plus" they have all types of batteries for just about anything. They may be willing to open your original battery case and replace the OEM batteries with comparable batteries.

Only says loading when started, does nothing

Hi, your problem is the laser lens, it went sour. This device is coded to read only region 1 disks, when U attempt to read other regions disks it will read them once, 2 or 3 times but then... it will stop reading any disk regardless the region they are. Regions codes were implanted on disks to control piracy, so USA has region 1, Mexico 4, Asia I believe is 3 and so on. There are a total of 6 regions worldwide, U have to get disks matching the region U are from or, better solution... get a multi-region DVD player.

Dvd stops playing and freezes less than 6 months old

Try to use lens cleaner. If lens cleaner doesnt solve the problem. Check your warranty. Or inquire to the store where you bought it.

Non bose dvd player for bose system

In short, you can. I did it last night. My Bose 321 DVD player is junk and it's always been junk, but I love the sound sytem. Last night, after the thing gobbled it's last DVD, I went through the whole, unplug, wait 5 minutes, plug back in, etc. and it still wouldn't eject so I ripped the DVD tray out of the thing with a pair of pliers, recovered my DVD, and slammed the tray back in, stripping all the gears and screwing up the motor in the process.
BUT, I disconnected the video cable from my Bose and plugged it into the video out on my el-cheapo Tru-Tech $99 DVD recorder. Then I ran the audio out cables from the Tru-Tech to the Aux 1 inputs on my Bose 321.
When I want to watch a DVD now, I put the DVD in my Tru-Tech, turn on the Bose, switch it to Aux 1, and I get a great picture and the Bose sound. Best of all, I don't have to plug and unplug that sorry Bose system everytime the wind blows.
They used the absolute cheapest DVD player they could get their hands on--a Toshiba model--for all the Bose 321 older models. Every single person who bought one has had these same troubles and they've made no offer to fix them.
This was my first and last Bose because of that and I hope more people stay away from Bose until they get their act together and protect their customers. $1000 for a system that eats DVDs like M&M's is ridiculous.

"loading" then "no disk"

You might as well just replace the player, the cost to repair is more than a new one.
