When its out of alignment the video will look 3-D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the menu. your tv is dying and halos are from angels waiting for it

The Blue CRT is bad.

Convergence problem.

Have you tried cleaning the projectors? I had a halo issue and that resolved it. Good luck
