Hello - If the RAZR V3 is a "branded" phone, Verizon, att, etc., there is no way to change it over to your carrier. Look under the phone battery. If there is no SIM card slot, there is no way to change the phone over to your carrie. I would suggest you go to http://www.motorola.com and check out their unlocked phones. They do an excellent job of explaining an unlocked phone.
Bought software off ebay for my Daughters V3 she no longer wanted. Orange wanted £20 to give me the unlock code so i could use as pay as you go. ebay software clears all passwords etc. Cost £2 and sent via email.
