VEIWFINDER IS BLURRY CANNOT SE OBJECTS CLEARLY

The camera is having problems focusing. Try focusing on a bright object hold the shutter button half way down to lock the focus then frame your image and press the shutter to take the photo.
If this does not work then try manual focus.

hi im looking for info on that i too have the same problem its very blurry near and far where you able to fix that on the svp hddv-3000?

Some of your electronics parts were worn out. Like capacitors may have leaks that need to be replace
as use stated that the word focus were very clear it means that your tube is still okay. or you adjust the focus knob on the compartment. To tune in the 3 colors.

Under the veiwfinders eye peice is a small switch! look in veiw finder and adjust switch to focus and it will clear up for you!

In the picture settings, you can choose between hdtv and standard t.v.. That should work for you because not all channels broadcast in the hdtv signal.

The ccd block is starting to fail. Thats the chip thats the eye of the camcorder at the back of the lense assy. Its mounted on a small circuit board. You can find the chip at parts.com. Its just a matter of dissassembling the camcorder and removing the chip from the board and soldering another onto it taking care not to over heat the chip. You do need good soldering skills.

Try pulling out the eyepiece, it will reveal a switch that controls the focus, it maybe the problem, good luck

i have an exilim camera too the 7.2 pixle. And im having same problem the day before i took really clear pix and now its just all blurry ... everything else works fine .. i never droped it or wet it .. i view the old pics and there really clear why is my lense sooo blurry now? help

Thats an oldie but still a goodie.. this camcorder was made by Hitachi for RCA and its doubtfull that theres any parts available for it. You are probably gonna have to look around for someone with old camcorders laying around and swap out the veiwfinder . these units are also famous for the belts to go bad in them. if you take this unit to a servicer they probably have a flat rate as I've seen online under camcorder repairs unless you think you can do it your self?? Good Luck PS If I get a good look at the veiwfinder and if theres a plug or is it hard wired I may have one as I got several camcorders around the place i use for opsolete parts.
