This means that Windows has not found/loaded the device-drivers for your sound-card.
> other device video controller(VGA compatible)
This means that Windows has not found/loaded the device-drivers for your video-card.
In both cases, access:
http://WindowsUpdate.Microsoft.com
and do a "custom" search for updated device-drivers.
When the search completes, click the "Optional Hardware" updates, to see if Windows Update is offering device-drivers for your hardware.
Or, access the web-site for the manufacturer of your motherboard,
and do a search, based on the model-number of the motherboard,
and based on the Operating System (XP? Vista? 7?) that you have installed,
to see if that web-site is offering device-drivers for your environment.
Thanks for the advice but I think I will have to figure out the exact model number. There are a few options on "driverguide.com" but they all seem to be for specifc MAXDATA models. If anyone knows how to identify the model from the motherboard I would be very grateful.
Thanks again. That's sounds like just what I need.
