0682 did not correspond to any known Philips baby monitor model...at least nothing came up in Philips support database. I published below the manuals for different Philips baby monitors. Please check if any of them corresponds to your series.
"Normal" batteries are 1.5 Volts per "Cell" However Ni-Cads, rechargeables, each "Cell" is only 1.2 Volts. So the rechargeables simply may not work... If they do work, then there is NO reason why not.

and you might need to do a uninstall reinstall
if it worked on same pc before it should work now.
if you have a reset button on transmitter try resetting it.
