If you're using a universal remote control with this TV, you have to setup it with setup codes to Sanyo TV, with this remote control. If you wish to get more details about setup codes and setup procedure, check these sites. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/

Selecting the view option, either to Mosaic / Timeslide, can be selected by the dropdown list, at the top left of the display window, will make surf easy.

I have telefunken tv and whene i start it the picture come but it block i cant move anything i cant use the remote i cant even close the tv just if i Unplug the power pls helpe me

I'm not quite understanding what exactly you are saying. Do you mean,
You have a TV, and when you turn it on, you have pictures but, you can't scroll or operate/change channels, volumes etc. by using the remote but, in order to turn the TV off, you have to unplug the power cord.
1. Check the battery in the remote
2. If the battery is good in the remote then you might have a bad remote, buy new remote or replace it with a universal remote.
3. If either not a battery or remote, then it will be the control board inside the TV quit working and will need to be replaced. Depending on how expensive or age of the TV. By the time you invest fixing the board with labor, might runs you from $200 to $400 bucks, and you can buy a new TV from Walmart a 49" inch TV for $319 bucks.

Tv will not turn tv on or off

If TV can be switched ON with its front panel controls, and not with the remote control; the fault should be with the remote control itself. If so, check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. If it is universal remote control, after replacing the batteries, you have to set it up with set up code to your TV brand. Check the battery contacts in the battery compartment for any rust or dust accumulated. Clean it well before replacing with new batteries. If you wish to get more information about how to check a remote control, check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

Hello,

If new batteries did not fix the problem, then it means the problem is either from the remote or the TV.

Remote: Check the remote battery terminal, see if its not rust. Also, disassemble the remote, can check the connection between the terminal and the remote board, see if there is no disconnection of any kind.

If after checking and all seems well, then it means the remote is defective. To confirm, borrow a remote, test it with the TV. If it works, then it means you need to replace your remote. But if the remote you borrowed does not work, then it means the problem is from the TV and not the remote.

TV: There is a sensor in the TV that communicates with the remote. If this sensor is defective, the remote won't communicate with the TV.

The TV sensor might have loosed contact from inside of the TV or it maybe defective and need to be replaced.

So do the above troubleshooting and let me know if the problem is from the TV or remote. If problem is from the remote, you need to do a replacement. But if otherwise, let me knows as well.

Regards.

My TV does not respond to the remote. I can only turn the tv on and regulate the sound by pushing the bottons on the TV

Hi,

IS it a universal remote? If yes, remove the battery, wait for 10 seconds or more, fix the battery back in and re-register the remote with the TV by entering the code. But it the remote works with the TV without code, try again. If this doesn't fix the problem, please read further.

Try the remote with new batteries, ff new batteries did not fix the problem, then it means the problem is either from the remote or the TV.

The tv doesn't react when pressing the power button. What can I do to fix this?

Things You'll Need:
  • Batteries
    • 1 Press the "TV" button and then press the "Power" button on the remote. If the TV turns on, your remote was just switched off of TV mode.
    • 2 Reprogram your remote to your TV. Universal remote controls can be accidentally unprogrammed by sitting on the wrong combination of buttons or having the batteries disconnect from the inner connections.
    • 3 Unplug the TV from the electrical outlet for a few minutes and plug it back in. This will reset the TV in case a power surge caused the TV to become "confused."
    • 4 Replace the batteries with new ones. Do not use old batteries from a different device in your house because if the batteries do not work, you won't be able to determine anything because those batteries may not have enough juice to power the remote. Keep in mind that different devices have different needs, so the batteries may have had enough power for something else to work but not enough for your remote.
    • 5 Check the batteries to see if they are inserted in the right direction. It's possible that someone dropped the remote, the batteries fell out and then were inserted incorrectly.
    • 6 Press the "Power" button on the TV set to determine that the TV is not dead. A dead TV will not turn on from a remote.
    • 7 Program the remote to another TV. If the second TV works from the remote, the problem is with your TV's remote signal receiver

Tv turns off when it feels like it

There are 4 possibilities.
1. weak remote batteries
2. failing remote button pad
3. failing infra-red LED in remote
4. failing infra-red receiver in TV.

First, try another fresh set of batteries.
Next, replace the remote, third, have a TV shop look at it.

Remote control not responding

Perhaps you can try what I do when my KV24FV300 runs through channels and will not stop.  Hard to watch and remote will not work.  Nothing works but on and off from set.

Sony Says:  Take all batteries out of ALL remotes that you use in any way for that set, VCR, etc.  ALL batteries out.  Turn TV off at set.  Unplug TV.  Wait at least 15 minutes then replace all batteries in ALL remotes.  Plug TV back in and turn TV on from set.

Maybe, just maybe it will work.  If it does not work why not call Sony, they always say that cannot happen but they have a solution for it.
