RCA 25GT536 picture has a horisonal wave or wiggle that scrolls from the bottom of the picture up to the top and then repeats. TV worked great before a power surge. Sound is still good.

Any kind of wave form usually is cause by a bad filter, the question is if it's in the powersupply or horizontal section. I would first start with PS. Look for bad capacitors.

Unplug the power cord for about an hour or more and provide supply to the tv .

At times the power supply can cause this problem .

If you have any substances generating EM waves in and around tv remove it .

I have a Panasonic Quintrix F TV. About 6 weeks ago the tv screen started displaying

Rule out the signal source by seeing if same issue when a DVD etc is used.

Usually a wave like motion from bottom to top is either signal related or a problem in the power supply (wave moves from bottom to top suggests that).

If not on rear inputs (A/V) it is not the power supply.

Model number is not indicated here and might be helpful.

Picture scrolls and is offset

Oops, nevermind. It's right there up top.

First off, try a TV reset. Leave it unplugged for 5+ minutes then try again.

If this doesn't work, I would recommend contacting RCA. There is no way to contact them as far as I can find, except for an online form to their customer service (there may be a contact number in your TV's manual):

Good luck,

Picture is wiggling. Like waves.

the power supply has variations meaning your supply is not constant, it is not giving the same outputs voltages.
plse check the following
capacitors which have changed values
semi conductors which are leaking.
