Question about Maytag 24 in. MDB5651A Built-in Dishwasher

All the lights are flashing on Maytag Quiet Series 300

For some reason all the lights are flashing on the dishwasher display and counting down. It happened once before and I was able to press the start button and hold it in and it cleared it, but that didn't work this time. It just keeps counting down over and over and I can't start it now.

Can someone resolve this issue - all the display lights blink in a pattern and it counts down from 50. I checked the two door switches (good) and reseated the connectors. The have the quiet series 300 but the model number is different. MDBH970AWQ

i've tried all these suggestions and nothing is working. The "L" flashes on when I try to press any buttons (including Cancel) and holding down the Cancel for any length of time does not work. There is no "heated" wash cycle--just Heavy, Light, etc. cycles.

Try pressing heated wash, heated dry, then heated wash, heated dry. It should reset it. Also try pressing and holding the cancel button for 5 seconds to see if that works if the other doesnt.

I just pressed the heated dry button and held it down for 3 seconds. That seemed to reset everything and it works fine now.

THat worked wonderfully!! I got a little worried cause it was completly full of dishes.

Tried the heated wash/heated dry sequence but no luck. Turned of power to dishwasher (300 series) for 5 secs and then turned power on and lights/count down stopped flashing/counting. This is the same procedure one does when your satelliite receiver hangs up.

Mine was doing the same thing and I just pressed and held down the heated dry button until the light went off. Then I was able to start my machine as usual. Hope this works for you.

Maytag quiet series 300

Maytag Quiet Series 300. The lights flash in sequence starting from the outside traveling inward. The timer counts backwards from 50 to 1. Then the sequence starts over. and continues over and over. I'm able to clear it when the time reaches 1 or 2. It stays off for a while (3-4 hours) then starts over. I can not clear the countdown until it reaches 1 or 2. After I clear it the dishwasher will work, but until then, no way. This happens with the door open or closed.

Our dishwasher door now opens too far downward, and when the bottom rack slides out it kind of falls downward onto it. I can't find any loose screws, and both springs seem fine. Any suggestions?
