Black and white vertical lines on left sided of screen. Black and white vertical lines vary in width. Left of vertical lines is wrapped video from right side. This is happening on all inputs. I have very low hours on this TV and am VERY disappointed in its performance. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Paul G.

If its under warranty take it back immediately!!! If not you will need to have the set diagnosed to pinpoint the problem. You could be looking at a faulty t-con/panel connection (easy fix) or a bad t-con board(inexpensive) or a LCD panel(very expensive) failure !

yes. sorry to deliver bad news. cost to repair is 90% the cost of when you purchased. panel is around 400-500 plus your labor. samsung may have flat rate program but still is not very economical. sorry again.

SOURCE: Vertical Line started on left side of HDTV, and now

This problem is down to the actual LCD or plasma screen, if this shows as the screen warms up and stays on then the screen will need to be replaced, you should go back to your retailer (not manufacturer) and report this problem, depending on the store and how long you have had the tv, the tv can be replaced for a like for like tv at store as this is not a cheap standard repair.

Hey Carson,

Without seeing the set, it is hard to pin down the problem. But I would guess you have a problem with either the t-con board, t-con ribbon connection problem, or a failing LCD panel. Samsungs are known for premature panel failures. The problem is by that time you pay a diagnosis fee, parts and labor, you would be close to the price of a new set. If you are financially able to buy another set, I would do so and toss your old one on Craigslist. If you get $40 bucks for it take the money and run !!!

How to reset nokia mobiles life timer to ''0''

Nokia life timer is a counter that keeps track of the Total call time of your phone. It will show how much the phone has been used, and it?s the best thing to check if you?re planning to buy a used Nokia Mobile.
To see the Total Call Time or the life timer counter, On the standby screen type the following code *#92702689# (Easy way to remember this is ? *#war0anty#). And it will pop up a message that shows the life timer in hours and minutes.

Here is a detailed procedure to make this life timer zero.

  1. Nemesis service suite link: Download from Here
  2. lifetimer.pm file: Download Here
PROCEDURE:
1. Download and Extract the lifetimer.pm file, and Download Nemesis Service Suite.

4. Connect The Phone in ?PC Suite? Mode to the PC

5. Open Nemesis Service Software

Vertical lines on an LCD screen are not a good sign. This usually means that your screen is going bad.

Sony WEGA KE-37XS910

This TV has a very expensive panel... we are talking $3000 core charge alone! It comes complete with all the lower buffer boards (which from the sound of it, you are having a problem with). Individual boards for this defect are not available on repair parts list I know of. A panel is what you need, PN: 9-885-063-33

Vertical Black line 3 inch width on Plasma Samsung 42C96HD after 2 months of use

On al the plasma tvs there are control boards on the lower part of the screen that control the vertical images. If one of the chips on one of the boards fail, have a bad connection, or no ground it will result in a thick black lne down the screen. Seeing as the tv is new I would get the warrantee repair on it. There is a possibility that there is a problem with the screen itself but more than likely its the boards.
