press and check menu buttons by pressing button (auto adjust).also adjust screen resolution lowest and refresh rate

Restart your computer,
and keep hitting the F8 key until a "start-up" menu
(white text over a black background) is displayed.
Choose "Safe Mode" and let Windows start.
Reset the screen-resolution to 800-by-600, and 60 Hertz refresh-rate.
Restart your computer, normally,
and then "tweak" the screen-resolution and refresh-rates that are "optimal" for your monitor.

could be your VGA cable or picture tube is shot

if you look further down this page you will see the function button, when over brightnes press, this button and adjust from there, press it again to save, alternatly you can change the brightness in windows using settings.

sounds as if the lcd ink is leaking. you probply need to replace the screen.

This sounds like a claim. Give it back to your seller.

The older Hanns G monitors had there flukes, contact Hanns G about the issue, there is no physical fix. They will be able to help you. The new Hanns G screens are amazing, i had 3 of the 28" screens off newegg! :)

Check eBay, they are all the same.

when u power the computer press F8 key then enter in enable vga mode.
then if u able to enter then chagne screen resolution to 1024*768
