SOURCE: Need parts to repair pan handle

I just had this problem! I took it to Ace hardware and the guys helped me out, big time. I have a PH-358 panhandle and the same piece fell of during a shoot into some brush and dirt outside.

We (they) fixed it using a #6 metric bolt and butterfly wing nut along with two grommets (3/8 ID and 5/8 OD). It worked perfectly! Not only does it hold the handle together but you can tighten or loosen the handle as well using the butterfly wing nut.

What do I need to attach a Castel-XL focusing rack to my DV 7000 tripod? The attachment piece with the tripod does not attach in a sturdy fashion.

The XL attahes with a 1/4 or 3/8" camera screw or via an Arca compatible QR. If it is not tight on your tripod the problem is probably in the tripod head.

Hi, I need to position my camera upside down so I can take photos, numerous photos. Can you recommend a stand that will allow a Nikon D80, so be positioned exactly.

Check with any decent photo shop for a tripod with a column which you can insert upside down. The Velbon Sherpa 200R tripod has such a column. They are available worldwide, or you can check their website for a picture of it, so it might be easier to describe to a sales associate. The common application is for nature photography, where you need to get the camera close to the ground. Have you thought about rotating the files in the computer?

Missing part on Tripod - Velbon Victory 550

Where can I get parts?

I got from friend a Velbon Victory 550 tripod. The handle that prevent the head from tilting is missing, and so is a piece of plastic that apparently held the rod upon which the head of the tripod is placed from shaking.

thank you
