Will not toast. Toast carriage will stay down, but no voltage to heating elements. Egg cooker portion works great. I suspected might have a bad thermal sensor that's what's designed to turn on the heating element or the heating element could be bad it's only a $35 item you can get it on eBay for about 15 bucks I just suggest get another one especially if you like it
On my fourth one now...love the idea, but the egg poacher keeps burning out. The 800 number is 1-800-688-1989 Calling them now...this last one only lasted 3 weeks.
