Hi, Camcorder video head required cleaning because gray lines come in playback when video head got clogged/ dirty. Put video head cleaning tape and playback it as per instructions. hope this will help you. Thanks.
dear , i Jasdeep working in superb broadcast as an lengineer .and for this problem i can suggest u the following things : 1. Play back the cleaning tape for 10 sec. only then use it.
actually this problem occurs when the head get clogged (i.e, dirty ) it REC. only single band and shows the same in play back too.
Please use good quality video head cleaning tape and clean video head for normal playback. Video head cleaning tapes are available in many electronic stuff stores.
Clean the heads(use the specified cleaning tape sparingly). Change tape. Using Panasonic video tape? It sounds like no. You might get by with Sony... Try Panasonic. The tapes are different thickness, durability and therefore suitability for cameras. Try to get ME -type tape( metal evaporated) instead of MP( metal particle) as the particles tend to flake off more readily. The blue often means no signal(video) was recorded in that space(on the tape). Let me know it it helps.
Your playback heads might be clogged. I am not sure if this camera with give you a RF warning if your record heads get clogged. Also most professional machines drums are rated at 1000 - 1500 hours before they need to be replaced. If you are at 500 and never cleaned the heads it is time to. Run a cleaning tape a few times.
I have the same problem with my Panasonic and have not taken it in yet; however, understand that its a simple fix of running a cleaning tape through it....
Ill try this...
