Summary of my manual: you need to initialize it first. Tap the platform lightly. It should show zeroes running across the display for a second or two, then show all zeroes and turn off. It should be initialized...

Instructions for set up are:

Turn it on.
Select user number using up and down buttons (P0 through P9 can be used).
Hit the Set button.
Choose gender using up and down buttons.
Hit the Set button.
Enter your age using up and down buttons.
Hit the Set button.
Enter your height (goes in 1/2 inch increments) using up and down buttons.
Hit the Set button. (Info is now saved.)
When scale changes to 0.0, you can step on, and get your weight.
It will blink and change weight possibly for a second or two. When it stops, it shows your weight.
Stay standing still on the scale after your weight, and it will gon to show your bodyfat percentage, then your body water percentage.
When finished, you can step off, and it will turn off.

Error Codes for the 5757 (according to my manual):

Er 0 Initialization error (remedy described above)

Er 1 Instability error (step off the scale, then back on)

Er 2 Overload warning (registering weight beyond the 440 pound max)

Er 3 Contact error (body impedance beyond technical limit - try dampening feet and try again for better contact)

Er 4 Bodyfat error (bodyfat percentage is beyond range - try dampening feet and try again for better contact)

Er 5 Bodywater error (bodywater percentage is beyond range - try dampening feet and try again for better contact)

My scale starts out with 7.2 instead of 0.0

try removing battery if this does not work you have a faulty weight sensor

How do you program users?

Storing and Recalling Weights
1. Your scale can store and recall up to 5 weights. If your scale has one button,
weights can be stored for one user. If your scale has two buttons (User and
Save/Recall buttons), weights can be stored for multiple users.
2. Tap center of scale platform with foot and wait until "00.0" appears.
3. Stand on the platform without shifting or moving until weight is displayed.
4. For single user scale: When weight reading appears on screen, step off the
scale, press Save/Recall button and hold for about 2 seconds to save the
reading.
For multiple user scale: When weight reading appears on screen, step off the
scale, and press User button to select a user number. Then press Save/Recall
button for 2 seconds to save the reading.
5. Weight reading blinks twice, then becomes stable. A small number (1-5)
appears in the upper right hand corner of your display, indicating which of the
5 weights is displayed. (Once you have 5 weights in memory the current weight
always saves as "1" and the oldest reading is eliminated.)
6. Weight reading is saved. Press Save/Recall button to review the last 5 weights or
let the scale shut down automatically. (Note: until you have 5 weights stored in
memory, the display will show the number and "–" for each weight for which
no data point has been stored yet; i.e. "3 –", "4 –", "5 –" if only 2 weights
have been saved.)

Programming CONAIR WW 35 CHA Weight Watcher Scales

Press Set and choose the P-##(used to help you recognise which user, so skip your P-## and go to another number by using the Up/Down keys, once you have selected a P-## press Set to begin inputting details, you can input details with Up/Down keys with Set to confirm an input.
