When I plug my charger in the screen goes black. What's wrong?

Does the computer work ok when you turn it on, and it is not connected to the charger?

If so, then maybe you need to get a new charger. Or, maybe you let it charge overnight, then use it without the charger during the day.

The screen could also have a problem. There is no way to tell what is wrong for sure unless you buy a new charger, and see if that fixes the problem. If not, buy a new screen, and install it, and see if that fixes the problem. If not, then call Lenovo, if it is still under warranty, and see if they can help you pinpoint the problem.

Screen only lights up on battery power but no ac adapter/charger tried three ac chargers all do the same thing so its not screen or charger

Hi David
It sounds like a fault to its power transition section circuit. Actually, this circuit is built inside the mother board to your laptop.
Please contact the authorized service center, and describe and show them the problem you do experience now, with your laptop. It can be rectified. Gopakumar Gopalan Google

My blackberry bold keeps showing a battery with a redline on the screen instead of booting.

the device is drained to the bone this should go away and boot after 30 minutes max. I'm assuming you are using the original blackberry charger using a charger that fits but doesn't match the voltage/amperage that the blackberry charger outputs you wont be able to get rid of the drained battery screen if your blackberry haves juice you can use a non-approved weaker charger but that screen means it needs the original....also the blackberry USB is lets the same amount of electricity

Picture of computer and modem in screen when I plug in charger and cannot use gps.

you can try and reset it by pressing and holding the lower right corner of the screen, the slide the power switch to the on position till it starts..once it starts, let go of the power button and when you see the screen "do you really want to erase your data, let go of the screen and select yes and follow the instructions.

if that fails, your charger is probably faulty or maybe you just replaced it with a generic one...find another charger to try.

if that fails (i recommend this either way) download the web updater (HERE) and update the nuvi if you havent already.

normally the charger has gone bad, or a generic charger is the cause

if you need more help, just post back

LCD PROBLEM

It sounds as if you have the screen brightness setting turned way down for when its on the charger. You might be able to adjust this in the control panel under the battery/power options.
