SOURCE: I can't install a certain HP update.

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive.
The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable with
a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 2. Establish an Activesync connection between your iPAQ Pocket
PC and host PC.
3. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions
to install the Real Time Update.
4. Follow the instructions to perform a normal reset on the iPAQ Pocket PC.

on step 3 you should see the setup on your pdas screen do you see this?

Waiting for your reply. :)

Pass the align screen

Hey :), id be happy to help. You see, I too have a Ipaq except I had Ipaq 4350. Now, I too had the same problem you are having. The reason why you can't pass the align screen step is because somehow you have damaged your screen. And I have come to the conclusion that HP Ipaq's screen is extremely sensitive, ( because I never did anything that bad to my screen for it to be damaged) soo I'd recommend for you to call HP and see if they can repair your problem or give you another one. Thank you and I hope this helps!

solia, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to close the chat session on you.
Is your unit still under warranty? If so, check with the manufacturer.
They can help.
