German, Spanish and Dutch :
17 is correct Frank mesured from the base of the carburetor. Meaning the flat surface that the bowl bolts to, from the part of the float furthest away. With the needle just touching the seat. If you have set this correctly and are not getting fuel the next thing to check is that the needle and seat are not binding with a bit of grit (rarely happens) or that there is a problem with the petcock or filter. If it is vacume operated try sucking the vacume tume and see if fuel runs out of the hose into a container at a decent flow rate. If not vacume operated check the flow into a container when the tap is turned on. lastly check the fuel line does not have a kink or collapse caused by inferior line type or sharp bend. Hope you get it going soon mate.

The Technics KN550 has a midi out, so all you need is either a midi to game port or now you can buy midi to USB cables. If you are thinking about this seriously, then you're going to need some sort of arrangement software. Have a look at Cubase which is now the industry standard for PC's. It used to be Logic Platinum but Apple bought them out and they only release software for the Mac now. The good thing about midi is that once you get into it a bit, and make your own samples or have a sample bank on your PC, you can use use your keyboard to trigger any of those samples, so your keyuboard suddenly becomes every instrument under the sun. You can find cables by clicking here and read about Cubase by clicking here.
