Try this wizard:

select the option->"An Error is being displayed on the LCD", hit the "Next" button.
select the option "1203 - Print Head/ Cartridge Short error.", hit the "Next" button..
follow the steps in the wizard and see if the problem is resolved, if not you may want to contact Dell Tech support.
