It did once save games but just lately it won't save any! Worse still it tells me that it has deleted the save files. This happens on all the games both SP and DS. It just takes you straight back to beginning.
The SP games when used on the SP will save again, so I know the games are ok, it just seems to be the DS.
Any ideas?
Please help!
"It is possible its the ds or it could be the card"
Wow. How incredibly helpful. Here was me thinking it might be something not related to either, like the milk in the fridge. "It is possible its the ds or it could be the card"

Select system settings, then select data management, Select the "System Memory" tab to delete files from the Nintendo DS system memory. Select the "SD Card" tab to delete files from an SD card. A list of saved files on the system memory or SD card will appear. Select the saved file you want to erase from the list. A prompt will appear. Choose "Delete" from the prompt and confirm you want to delete the file. The saved file will be immediately erased from the system memory or SD card of the Nintendo DS.
As you would've found, the game doesn't offer a option to delete a save file
The recommended method is to simply start a new game and overwrite the existing save
Saying that, this can be deleted (if you really really wanted to) by purposely corrupting the save file (by, say, turning off the DS as it saves), but this should only be done at your own risk as there's a small chance that you'll end up with a partially corrupt save file that you can neither save to or load from (as someone once found out by accident)
The game does not have an option to delete the save file

If you really really want to delete the save file, this can be done by purposely corrupting it (by, say, turning off the DS as it saves), but this should be done at your own risk in case something unexpected goes wrong (such as ending up with a partially corrupt file that will not load)
Simply select New Game from the menu and overwrite the existing save file (this is the recommended method)
The game does not offer an option to delete save files (although it is possible using the arguably risky method of purposely corrupting the file by, say, turning off the DS as it saves)
If having extra save files is a major concern, these can be deleted by corrupting the saves (such as turning off the DS during a save), but this should only be done at your own risk (in case something goes wrong)
If you want to delete the points you have to delete the whole save file also. Thus, you have to copy the game and the save file into his friend's ds if he wants to play the same lvls that your son has passed. PLEASE rate me.
hmm. I have a game called Sight Training for the DS. I bought it Pre-owned. When i turned it on all of the save files had already been used and the game had practically been played with the wrong ages entered and stuff. What do i do ? Is it the same as Nintendogs ?
you need to go into the system itself and delete files from the DS itself. The DS has the capability to save files. when the game starts up, go into systems and you should be able to find where the files are and start to delete some.
