HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. omg. maybe there is help. will get audio but no video from DPS dvd player and PS3. no onscreen menu either. changed hdmi cord. seems to be problem with reciever. DVD works fine when changing to component cables instead of the HDMI. sometimes plugging and unplugging the HDMI cable gets the PS3 working. Don't quite understand scrap605's suggestion. but that doesn't solve this prob.

As you have mensioned it should be power supply problem. You have to check the voltage regulators at it power supply satge. it should need a good electronics servicing skill to find out the exact problem. if you are not experienced in it, then i will prefer you to consult some one more experience in it for such a costly system.

Please unplug the unit from the outlet for 15 mins and then check if the symptoms still there.
Reset the unit to factory setting by following the steps below.
> Power on the unit.
> Press VCR/DVR button key + On/standby key at the same time to re-initialized the memory to factory settings.
Check also if the remote control is working fine. Aim the sensor of the remote control directly to your cellphone camera, while pressing any button key from the remote control (button key with an issue) you will be able to see the flash of an infrared emitted by the remote control indicating that it is working fine.
