Please help. I'm out of ideas. im trying to play music on the lg vx8300. so i popped in a micro sd card. i tried to use the mp3 format and the phone didnt recognize the songs on the card. then i tried to reformat it to WMA format. it recognized the songs on it but said it there was a music error. and didnt play any of the songs. grrrrrr. frustrating please get back to me @ [email protected] thinks anything would help :-)
Also your songs need to be in special formatted folders. the first time i popped my 4gb sdhc card into my phone, it asked if i wanted to format it. i said yes, and then found that several new folders appeared on the card. one of these is my_music into which you can drag and drop your mp3s using your computer's card reader. just remember not to drag any extra folders or other files that your phone won't be able to recognize.

I have found that mine didn't recognize songs if the name of the song was too long. Try going into Windows explorer (with the micro sd card in the computer) and rename at least one of the songs as a test. If that song is recognized by the phone, go back and shorten the names on the rest of the card. Good luck!
