Canon LBP 3000 tells me it needs a new toner cartridge

Not long after purchase my canon laser printer ran out of toner (or so it told me), I was surprised but still went and replaced it.Now again it but i also note that the message says ! No Toner Cartridge. Open the top cover and insert a toner cartridge. Which is impossible because there is a new toner that was working just fine a second ago. So i'm assuming no problem with toner cartridge but something with the printer itself. Any ideas Thanks

The same happens with my Canon LBP 2900

  • Anonymous Apr 01, 2009

I just bought it a week ago and have the same problem. When this error message popped up first time, I opened up the top cover and reinserted the same cartridge with couple of tries and it worked but only once. Then again I faced the same problem and never worked in one hour try. Well, I will contact the seller of this printer.

I have same problem as well. The printer was working fine for more than six months. Suddenly it is giving me the toner massage. I replaced the toner with an original new toner and the message never went away. I think I need to call the reseller as well. I have LBP 2900.

I spent the whole day yesterday trying to fix this problem. Had just installed new application and was convinced (still am) that it had interfered in the printing process. Uninstalled and reinstalled printer driver. Still no go. Found this fix this morning - Wow! Thank you!

Hello!

Remove the toner cartridge out, on the right side of the toner cartrige slot inside the printer you will see an round bushing with metal pin. That pin goes in and out when you open or close cover. So you need to take an contact spray or WD40 and apply it on pin. After each spraying open and close the door so that liquid can do its own in the inner mechanism of toner recognition.
Aplly wery small ammount each time.

hope thath helped

I am facing the same problem. I am still not sure what is the "round bushing with metal pin" on the right side of the toner cartridge slot inside the printer that you wrote on its solution. I found there is a black color round bushing on that location... I am not if it is. Anyway, I applied WD40 to it many times but I still get the error "No toner cartridge". I am really urged to solve this problem. I appreciate your help.

I have a Canon LBP 5200, and it does the same thing. I had it. I guess Canon has a mass problem and we need to NOT BUY A CANON PRINTER in the future.

Canon 4450 toner low

When the toner cartridge is exhausted or empty then theprinter will not be able to print further documents or the prints will be veryfaint. You may be able to print a few more pages by removing the tonercartridge and shaking the toner cartridge in a horizontal position a few timesand then placing it back into the printer. This will give you an opportunity to print a few more pages and giveyou time to purchase a new toner cartridge for your printer. A cheaperalternative is to purchase a re-manufactured toner cartridge for your modelprinter.A re-manufactured printer cartridge also replaces worn partsas well as refilling with toner powder.

I have cannon printer model L11121E, lately ,its not printing well, some of the matter comes up very light, unable to read, as if the catridge is running out, this is supposed to be laser printer, what...

The toner may be low or nearly run out. Remove the toner cartridge and give it a shake in a horizontal position, then replace the toner cartridge in the printer. This may give you a few more prints.
If not you need to replace the toner cartridge with a new Canon toner cartridge, or purchase a re-manufactured toner cartridge for your model laser printer. These re-manufactured laser cartridges are approx. half the cost of a new toner cartridge.

Printer keeps saying to clean the corona wire. I cleaned it several times but the message keeps popping up.

To clean the corona wire in the brother laser printer, it said to remove the drum/toner assembly from the printer. This is very easy to do, you simply pull down the front of the printer, and press a small green tab down and pull. Then the toner and drum assembly will quickly come out.
After that, it says you must clean the corona wire by moving a small green square back and forth several times. It seemed kind of strange to me, but I did it anyways. In the upper right corner of the drum/toner assembly, there is a small green/blue square that can be moved back and forth. I did this several times.
I then placed the unit inside, and the error message went away for a minute. However it still wouldn't print and the error message came right back up. I was a bit frustrated since I have only owned this printer for about 2-3 months.
But then I realized something: The toner button had been blinking for about a month. I had already purchased a high yield black toner cartridge for the brother laser printer (Tn-330/TN360). I purchased it online, and had it stored for when I eventually ran out of toner.
I thought perhaps the error message had something to do with the old toner. Maybe it was out?? So I once again opened the front of the laser printer, and removed the toner/drum assembly. I pressed a green tab, removed the old toner, and then added the brand new high yield black laser toner cartridge. The whole process was very simple (you gotta love today's technology).
I then quickly "cleaned the corona wire" a few times again just to be safe. I re-installed the toner, and the printer was up and running. So apparently it will throw this error when you are out of toner. Now the printer is running great again, and I really like this printer.
If you are still using an ink jet printer, then you are living in the stone age. I was reluctant to buy a new laser printer, but now I love it. The toner only costs $30-60 and lasts for months. I print hundreds of labels out each month-just to give you an idea of how long it lasts.or get more information Call +877 889 6859 for detail.

Canon monochrome laser LBP3108b printer cartrige can be refill?

I would not advise on refilling a toner cartridge, the toner power is very fine and you do not want to breath in this toner powder.
You can purchase a new toner cartridge or a recharged toner cartridge these are cheaper than a new cartridge.
You can get a few more print pages out of a empty toner cartridge by shaking the toner cartridge in a horizontal position and inserting back into the printer.

Samsung ML-1450 printer not working properly

All toner cartridges have a waste toner area where excess toner is stored, therefore appearing to be heavy. The 1450 will not ask for toner when depleted, and Samsung cartridges are cheaper than competing brands.
