Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
I have my phone set to vibrate when a call comes in but it doesn't vibrate...it will vibrate when I get a message and it will vibrate and ring at the same time but will not vibrate only.
Have you used other chargers? Your EMU could be messed up or a bad charger. Try another to see what will happened or look at the pins in the EMU for damage. Unfortunately they still hadn't decided to cover the EMU like they did the Krazr. Are there any headphone setting that were changed? It seems to be using the charger as an external speaker. Have you power cycled or master reset?

try pressing and holding the # key. Motorolas can be put in sient mode this way and may need to turn the volume back on with the same method. If that doesnt work try a master reset. (Instructions for this are on motorola.com). If it stil isnt working try removing the battery with the phone turned on. If all else fails contact your carrier for warranty information

SOURCE: Vibrate on Motorola V3 RAZR
Hi, your vib motor probably has dirt or stray hair so its not spinning, or it has just seized.
Simply bring to a local repair shop for a cleaning - about $15, if thats no good have them replace the vibe motor, cost is about $25-40 including install.
If you can't find a shop to do it let me know, we do those all the time

Direct from the official Motorola web site, the link below is a clickable PDF User's Manual for your Motorola RAZR V3i Phone.
Type "voicemail" into the search box at the top of the page and press "enter" on your keyboard to find the directions. I believe it is on pages 69 - 71.
I hope this helps you!
