Ah I figuered it out, sorry about any confusion...I accidentally got my L & R cables of my tonearm soldered backwards on the PC board. I've made the fix and all is back to normal.

It can be anywhere in the equalizer. Does it do this for all types of inputs? For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

My numark 5000fx lights up when turned on but does not register my technics on any of the channels

If your Numark 5000FX mixer is not registering your Technics turntable on any of the channels, there are a few things you can try:
  1. Check your cables: Make sure that your RCA cables are plugged in correctly and securely. If you are using a phono preamp, make sure that it is powered on and connected properly.
  2. Check your switch settings: Make sure that the switches on the back of the mixer are set correctly for the type of input you are using (line or phono).
  3. Check your levels: Make sure that the input levels are turned up and that the fader for the channel you are using is not muted or turned all the way down.
  4. Check your ground wire: If you are using a turntable, make sure that the ground wire is connected properly to the mixer.
If none of these steps work, there may be an issue with either the turntable or the mixer. Try testing the turntable on a different mixer or testing a different turntable on the Numark mixer to determine which component is causing the issue. If the mixer is the issue, it may need to be repaired or replaced.

Also so you are aware you're going to need to pick up an eletrical convertor for electronics built with EURO specs but allows to down step the current to what it is in America. Any Fry's Electronics or Pro-Audio store here in the US will have the one I bought which is a -
MODEL: TC-100A Up/Down Convertor $45.00.
That's it and my mixer is playing wonderfully so there you have it.
Thank you.

On the Connex CX-3300HP what is the Band knob for. The three positions are D/A E/B F/C.

The Band knob moves the frequency coverage from 25.615 and 28.305
The Hi-Low switch determines the lowest frequencies and highest.
Here is your owners manual.

Volfenhag amp adjustments

Firstly, you will want to set all options to a low pass, so the high frequencies are filtered away from the subs, avoiding damaging the voice coil. Start with the Gain of the amp about 3/4 of the way up, and all other knobs, such as the bass knob to the lowest setting. From there, test your subs for soujnd, and then change the gain and amount of bass for the sound you desire, since each person is different. I have my gain about 1/2 way up and the bass about 1/4 of the way up. If you have a crossover knob, set it to the highest frequency available, since the low pass will filter all the high frequencies out anyway.

Eurovox - setanta channels

try this it should help you get channels back.
Try and determine the lowest transponder frequency that you can get a signal on.
Look at the frequencies you already have on the channels saved so far and choose the lowest.
Then in the installation menu select MANUAL SCAN and set that as the frequency.
Make sure you can see a signal and scroll down to Network scan and change to ENABLE with the Right arrow.
While still highlighted, click OK.
Scanning should then begin. It will say 1/1 to start with but should then jump up to 1/?? (the ?? being 2 digits).
Using this method indicated it scanned 56/56 transponder frequencies as opposed to 48 in Auto scan on one main provider.

The other transponders may have been picked up by scanning other providers. if no luck let me know .

IR frequency determination

The remote could be using RF, which is why your Niles equipment cannot handle it. There is no way to duplicate the RF or convert it to an IR signal.

If the remote is using IR, make sure the batteries are full and the light is low when you are learning the codes with tne Niles equpment. There is no way if it's IR that the freq is > 100.
