There are products such as VideoSecu PC to TV Presentation Converter. I haven't used them. I'm not sure you are going to get the resolution that you want. A DLP projector does a pretty good job. I know that is not what you are looking for.
Type "PC to TV Converter" in Google. They are about $40 to $60 bucks. Before you buy one, read the reviews.

Is the light blinking 9 times? If so thats a very common problem caused by failed diodes on the G board which will need to be replaced.

10 blinks is a high voltage protection. This is why it has a retrace lines on the picture. It can't be fixed by reset or unplugging the set from the outlet because there's a faulty parts inside. It needs to troubleshoot the deflection circuitry to determine which part(s) gone bad. You need to ask for an assistance of a qualified TV Technician because this kind of symptoms is not DIY unless you have an experienced in electronics.
Also, check if you're unit is under warranty period/extended warranty, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Opening the rear cover will void the warranty.
