After recharging dead battery, my radio won't come on, no power , it's on a Sebring convertible 1997

Charge it, or hook up jumper cables, wait a few minutes before you actually try to start it. Make the ground to the running engine the last connection you make.

If you take off the left front tire and wheel assembly, you can access the battery.

some chrysler dealers keep the codes on mainframe if not call "radio active"they will decode your radio for you.

when changing your battery your radio will go into lock mode you need the code to unlock it

sounds like someone forgot to reconnect a power cable from the battery to the fuse block inside the car, you might check this out yourself

Make sure you hsve a fully cheged battery to hand. First, disconnect original battery for at leazt 30 mins. Then reconnect new battery. Having no battery connected for 30 mins is critical

I am having this same problem with my 99 sebring.. anyone know what we can do to fix this?
