Cable not plugging into my Xbox 360 Controller correctly!

Okay, when I plug in the cable that goes in my Xbox 360 Controller it's like half the size... The part that goes into my xbox 360 controller came off and is now inside my controller, I know this because I can hear it inside my xbox 360 controller. I know I can open my controller and get it out because at the moment no mics will work because its stuck inside the controller, but my question is:

Can I fix my turtle beach headset cable so I can talk to people on xbox live? Is there something I can do to get that end of the cable that plugs into my controller back in the right spot so I can plug it in and communicate to people?

My afterglow ax-1 xbox 360 controller won't stop vibrating when plugged in

Did you try plugging it in to another USB port? This sounds like a problem with the USB cable of your controller or the USB port on your PC. Try bending the cable near the plug etc. and see if it makes any difference. If not you'll be better off buying a new controller unless its still under warranty.

How do i reactivate the wireless controller to my xbox 360

How to Configure an Xbox Controller Fotolia.com"> configure-xbox-controller-800x800.jpg Configure you Xbox controller.

The Xbox 360 utilizes two types of controllers: wired and wireless. Like most operations on a video game console, configuring a controller requires little effort. You can either plug the controller into a port on the Xbox 360, or sync a wireless controller using the console's built-in controls.
Difficulty:Easy Instructions

  1. Wired
    • 1 Connect the controller's cable to the in-line release cord. This cord prevents you from accidentally pulling the Xbox 360 along with your controller during game play.
    • 2 Insert the in-line release cord's USB plug into the USB port on the front of the console.
    • 3 Turn on the console to activate the controller automatically.
    Wireless
    • 1 Insert batteries in your wireless controller, if necessary.
    • 2 Hold down the "Guide" button on the controller.
    • 3 Push the Xbox 360's "Connect" button, located on the front of the console.
    • 4 Push the controller's "Connect" button to sync it with the Xbox 360.

Xbox controller has a round cable plug in, the actual xbox has a rectangular plug in slot. One controller has an adapter but the other one has been lost. any idea where I can find one?

Hello jbethallen99 the part you are looking for is called "Xbox Breakaway Cable. if you search ebay you will find a few of them.
here is a direct link on Ebay to the part you are looking for.
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-XBOX-CONTROLLER-BREAKAWAY-BREAK-OFF-CABLE-/170474936116?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item27b1191734
click on that link and go there.
if that link will not work simply go to ebay search for "Xbox Breakaway Cable" look for the one for xbox not xbox 360 and that should take care of your problem.
Thanks
Steven.

4 red ligths on my xbox 360.

The AV cable cannot be detected

THINGS TO TRY
  1. Make sure that the AV cable is correctly connected to the Xbox 360 console.
  2. Disconnect the AV cable from the Xbox 360 console, and then reconnect the AV cable to the Xbox 360 console.
  3. If the four flashing red lights continue to flash, try wiping the metal area of the AV pack with a dry cloth. The metal area is the end that plugs into the console. Wipe the metal area thoroughly, and then try the AV Pack again.
  4. If the AV cable is correctly connected but the four red lights are still flashing, substitute a different AV cable if you have one available.
