Totaline p/n474-1050 programmable digital thermostat's monitor suddenly blanked out after 4years of opperation. Is this should be most likly replaced or still fixable
I don't know anything about your particular T-stat, but power comes from the transformer and there should be a 3 amp fuse next to the transformer. They're both located in the air handler (where the fan and evaporator coil Is).

Hi, if you don't have the manual for you're T-sat, chances are you will not find one.You could get lucky, but I would post this information on a site like www.craigslist.com. You may get help on this site

Replace the batteries first. If that does not fix it, you either have lost 24V from the furnace/airhandler, or the thermostat is bad.
You may get lucky and find that the only problem is a blown 3 or 5 amp fuse on the board. Although that usually indicates a short somewhere in the system.

The closest number that I can find to that number is a battery t-stat, so I would guess that there is a battery in there.
Pull the t-stat apart and check it out....do you have a manual for that t-stat?... it will tell you...
If no battery then the fuse for the transformer or the transformer its self may have blown...
Check for 24v coming to the t-stat on the "R" wire....
