Did you not receive an owners manual? I bought my basic machine in 1973. Refer to the manual all the time.
Since your machine is new, I would go back to the seller, and request an "owner's manual." They owe you that.
Sewing machines are 'cranky' about being threaded correctly.
My industrial machine came from a university costume shop. Someone painted directions on it - thanks be to God!
Seriously, you should have been given a manual!

According to the owner's manual, the vehicle came with a "key number tag." If you have the tag, or the number off the tag, you should be able to purchase a replacement key from a dealer or locksmith.
Before you go replacing the ignition (and the previous poster didn't mention it, but what about the door locks?) I would check your owner's manual. The original owner may have written the key code in the book!
Also, look around the car. Maybe the tag is stuck in the glovebox!
Do you have any of the papers you received when you bough tthe car (even if used)? Maybe the code is written on something?
To get audio from your TV through your AV receiver, please connect
stereo audio cables from an available AV input on the rear of your
receiver such as D-TV/LD or CBL/Sat. Then refer to your TV owner's
manual for more information about audio output to an amplifier. You may
have to turn off the internal TV speakers in order to get any output
from the TV into the AV receiver.
