Won't power on

I bought a nes off of ebay and it came with an AC adapter that's supposed to be for multi systems(nes, snes and genesis) and these AV cables. The red light won't come on and nothing happens on the screen is the console broken or could it be the hook ups?

Solved my own problem, the AC adapter was faulty and I found one for the NES hooked up to my genesis, now I just need an AC adapter for the genesis...

Well those 3 way adapters are bad news then use an offical NES ac adapter for ensured quality.

It could be a NES power system failure, but it is most likely the AC adapter. It is "rare" that a NES red light will not power on with a working AC adapter. I would suggest getting another AC adapter. Those after market 3-way adapters are notoriously unreliable.

My FC3 plus 3 game console won't turn on, please help

I am guessing that maybe it could be the ac adapter or that it is a bad video games console that you have purchased. Always buy authentic NES and SNES and Sega Genesis and Nintendo 64 consoles then because clone systems are not as good like the genuine consoles are.DKOldies and Lukie Games and JJ Games and East Starland games.

Snes red horizontal lines

When hooking a super Nintendo or an NES system or a sega genesis system to a digital tv you need av cables for it to work then instead of using an rf switch

Why can't NES or SNES or sega genesis not have controllers ports for 4 people to play at the same time then?

Well its because that they are too old and that technology wasnt avaliable at that time that NES SNES segs genesis and atari 2600 were made but you can use a 4 way cross key pad so 4 people can paly at the same time for theese consoles.

I just bought a super nintendo off ebay and i went to plug in a ac adapter for it but i looked and i saw that the metal piece that sticks out from the system that goes in the ac adapter plug is missing all...

Well the round metal part where the rf switch is supposed to go into is broken off so you couls use the av cables for SNES and N64 instead of using the rf switch or you could of bought a crappy console then.

Super Mario game loads, the battery-operated wireless controllers do absolutely NOTHING. Cannot start the game -- get it onscreen and it goes through its little demo but the controllers just won't get...

I don't know a lot about this console (the Retron 3), but the game sounds like it works fine, try using a different third-party console, I recommend the Retro Entertainment System, it's only around $20 - $25 on eBay, try a different NES game, if it doesn't work, than it's probably the controllers, get replacements, or the batteries are dead.

Rolling dark bands on TV while played Super Nintendo (SNES)

Actually your problem "IS" the 3rd party NES/SNES/Genesis AC adapter, which is notoriously unreliable, and many batches defective, bad ohm rating, creating a 60 cycle hum and/or noise bars that roll down your screen. The solution is to always insist on genuine Nintendo parts. I know, I know, but seriously, you'll save yourself a lot of headaches.

Yeah, they cost a little more, but it's worth it. And those cheap after market adapters have over time damaged more NES & SNES circuitry than you can shake a stick at.
