What do you mean by the top plate? Do you mean the actual outer shell of the unit itself, or do you mean the platter? Both are available as special order from - www.djproaudio.com and range in price from $40-120

Kitchenaid deluxe 5 edition stand mixer runs on speed 10 and after 30 sec stops I thought it was the speed control pannel then I order one online and change it but that work 2 times and i have the original...

In the Artisan mixers the problem can be caused by two different parts. First the speed control plate. When you remove the end cover from the mixer the first thing you see is the speed control plate. There are 3 screws on this, two at the top, one on the bottom. Try adjusting the top two screws, to adjust, turn in the control plate adjusting the screws an equal amount.
Also check to see if the control plate spring is unhooked. Remove end cover, and check control plate spring. If unhooked, attach to bottom of the control plate and squeeze the spring end.
It can also be caused by incorrect wiring, check the wiring, the last page of the service manual will be a wiring diagram for your mixer. Here is a link to the service manual. http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/mendingshed/kitchenaidservicemanual.pdf
Last, if the control plate is properly adjusted, the control plate spring is hooked correctly and the wiring is correct you will need to replace the speed control phase board. With the line cord disconnected, pull the t-bar contacts to open and insert a piece of paper between them so they cannot close. Reapply power-the mixer should just run or buzz trying to run. If it operates at full speed, the phase control is defective and needs to be replaced.
Thank you,
Colleen

I was doing cleaning and maintance on my fresh air unit, I noticed the red wire was no longer connected to clip that powers ac to ozone plate. I trimmed red wire till burned part was gone got good wire...

Congratulations! You did better than many dealers!

Hopefully, the answer to your problem is far easier than replacing the clip!

On the right side of the front panel, among the manual controls, there is a tiny little "reset" button. While the machine is running, press that button.

Then, turn the machine completely off for a few minutes, and then power it up again. Hopefully, that will take care of the message.

If not, inspect the plate. Are there any defects or lint particles? Check the placement of the plate. Is it inserted in the tracks, both top and bottom? Are the metal contact fingers pressing firmly on the metal screen portion of the plate?

If this still doesn't take care of the message, there is something wrong with the wiring, plate, or contacts, or the computer is malfunctioning! Call Vollara (new name for EcoQuest) customer service 800-989-2299 and ask for repairs. Someone there may also have suggestions, before you go to the trouble of sending in the machine. Use #16618 if you need a referral number.

My 61ar marvel is freezing even with thermostat on

There are two main causes for this symtom...

Bad temperature control or low freon condition.

A low freon condition is caused by a leak and evidenced by heavy ice build-up on the left side of the evaporator plate and no to very little ice on the right side. This has to be repaired by fixing the leak and replacing the lost freon.

There are two different control systems used on the 61AR...before 2000 it was an electric-mechanical thermostat that had a sensing bulb exiting the back and routed to the top center of the evpaorator plate to sense plate temperaure. The part number for replacement is 42240590

The second control consists of three parts, a control board (SSAC Control), thermsitor and potentiometer. The most common failure is the thermsitor which senses temperature at the evaporator plate and reports it to the control board by varing it's resistance. You can buy a replacement kit that has all three parts or just the thermsitor from the factory by calling 800-223-3900. Write me a reply note if you need futher troubleshooting help. The thermsitor part number is 42244531 and comes with replacement instructions.

Needing new handles for the removable plates on my George Foreman GRP4.

Hi beccagc06,

I'd contact the manufacturer (Salton, Inc.) customer service site for parts or manual. If they don't have them, they should know where to send you (though if they don't, I'd seriously wonder about the company).

Go to

http://prc.prodregister.com/prodprotect/applica/

And click on "George Foreman" (lower-right portion of the page), it redirects you to a secure webpage where you can register.

https://secure.prodregister.com/prodprotect/applica/gf.shtml

Part of the page reads:
"Call toll-free or visit our websites for assistance if you need more help.

Parts & Accessories:
Phone: 1-800-738-0245 (Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., ET)

Product Warranty:
Service: 1-800-231-9786 (Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., ET)"

If I can be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it accordingly.

Thanks in-advance for using Fixya.com,

Jon
