I am on my second GCC laser printer. I retired my last one because it was eating to many fusers. Now my current machine, a GCC Elite 21N has a fuser error. The machine counter indicates that I have printed a litte over 25,000 pages. GCC indicates that a fuser should last about 100,000. I only print about 250-300 pages a month. Several questions: 1. What would be the reason for the low fuser life? 2. Are reconditioned fusers reliable? A new fuser for this machine is about $300. I can buy a new color laser printer for a little over 400. It doesn't seem worth repairing unless a $150 reconditioned fuser works. The Tech person at GCC tells me the refurbished fusers are junk and won't work.

Basically the error message is telling you the printer cannot keep the fuser temperature at the proper temperature (too low). It could be a lot of things but typically it is due to a fuser assembly gone bad.

If you have annother tonner cartridge, (the old one will do)fix it and see if it works. If not there might be a component faillure related to the Fuser Unit. Also check for any Jam in the Pinions(Sometimes Samsung Laser Displays wrong MSG.)

there is a 2 wire device (thermistor) that rests against the fuser roller to measure the temperauture. if the fuser is getting quite hot, suspect the thermistor to be either dirty (remove and clean it with alcohol) or defective. if fuser not getting hot, then suspect burned out fuser heater (look inside fuser roller for a long light bulb).

I have the same probolem with the Samsung color laser printer clp-510. I get the "engine fuser low hear error"
What can I do?
How do I get the diagnostic software to try that too?

Fuser Error is a Fuser Error no matter what the printer is hooked up to.
Most likely the fuser unit is shot and will need to be replaced. Either the heating element or a sensor went bad and will need to be replaced.
Unless you recently tried to run a lot of pages and it over heated.
Then i would shut the printer off, wait 10-15 minutes and then turn it back on again. If you get the fuser error again, then your printer needs to be serviced.
