Build-up of a mountain of ice in freezer

Gladiator (Whirlpool) Freezerator Freezer is 3 years old and is placed in my garage (no heat or cooling). On warm humide days there is condensation in the refriderator at the top near the front door, hinge side. Apparently this condesation builds up and drips down into the freezer creating a mountain formation of ice. This appliance was designed for garage use, hot / cold / humid is not suppose to have an affect on functionallity. Note - I started to have this problem after moving to a new home one year ago. Additionally the appliance is not perfectly level/stable.

Whilpool Gladiator Freezerator not blowing cold air in bottom freezer

The freezer will build up condensation and then ice at the front of the ice box. It'll also drip down toward the hole where ice would come out (for the door).

When this happens the door is harder to open close - because of additional ice build up.

Additionally, the water on the door works, but the ice does not. Crushed ice can come out - but never cubed (even if I've recently defrosted/chipped away at the ice build up).

    Any thoughts?

Gladiator Freezerator wont stay frozen in the bottom portion. It will go to temp when temp is mved, but then start to warm up. Why?

If the bottom freezer section of the Gladiator Freezerator is thawing out the usual cause is from the coils in the back of the top refrigerator section being iced up. The ice blockage prevents the fan from circulating cold air into the bottom freezer section. These units have a design flaw due to the defrost drain freezing up preventing water from draining out from under the coil. The long-term solution is to remove the back wall of the refrigerator section to get to the coil, thoroughly defrost the coil making sure the drain tube is clear, then wrap a couple turns of #12 or #14 copper house wire around the bottom of the defrost heater element and run it a few inches into the drain tube. Advise unplugging the unit when you do this.

I've had this fix on my Gladiator for a couple years and it has been working perfectly ever since. The freezer stays a constant 0 degrees F and no more thawed out food.

Ice build up

You should to check the Whirlpool Gladiator Freezerator's door sealer to make sure all rubber or plastic seal very well to prevent air humidity come in to build up frost fast. Also, you have to defrost completely and wipe with cloth or paper towel to absorb all waters out and let it dry completely to prevent frost build up.
