Now set temperature, Calls for heat -the spark comes on, no poof but the icon flame light comes on BUT NO POOF but the flame icon comes on but the unit does not heat up. Anyone have ace suggestions?

Make three attempts to get heater running. most electronic ignition heaters will lock out after 3-4 times. after it locks out error codes should present themselves.....such as ignition failure, prs, etc.
ensure proper gas and water pressure. check voltage supplied to your raypack's igniter aswell. if heater fires up then instantly shuts off, then it may be the flame sensor

SOURCE: service light on

I just had the same problem resolved, my mastertemp 400 would run up the temp to 82F and then cutoff, the service light flashes and then 50 seconds later the heater would restart and run for 2 minnutesbefore shutting down again and relighting in 50 seconds. Repeating until the temp setting is reached.

I had the pool guy out 3 times until he found a bad thermal regulator valve (kit #77707-0010). Once replaced the heater runs great.

He told me that it's my pool chemestry that is to blame, I had it checked (like I do weekely by me and monthly by the pool supply store) and it perfect??? I'm now questioning what caused the corroson and stop it from coming back?

I hope tis helps.

this usually indicates a high limit condition.you must first ascertain if you have a component failure or a true high tempature condition.your model has 2 limit controls and they are both located in side panel on water in/out header

SOURCE: water temperature thermostat misread

You most likely have a bad water temperature sensor. Replace the water temperature sensor that is probably near the discharge side of the filter pump. That should take care of the problem.

Sounds like your compressor is not running. After your fan goes on in one to five minutes you should hear the compressor kick in. If it does this and then kicks out again it can be something as simple as water flow and you can adjust the valves to get more or less flow to keep it running. If not you probally need a repairman. It is ether your compressor or the capicators that start the compressor and this is all high voltage. Good luck.

If the unit is lighting then shutting off then repeating it isn't rectifying, means not sensing the flame. May have a bad flame sensor or ignition control. I'm guessing your AGS is indicated on the GUI also.

Raypak 2100 Light flickering and clicking

If sound of click has changed try this; Get a small mirror that you can use to inspect in the burner tray while trying to start and inspect after dark to see if the spark is jumping anywhere it should not. Also when it is light out do the same only look closley at the pilot assembly itself and see if any soot has built up on the pilot burner this will also stop the spark from being hot enough to ignight the flame. Be sure to let any gas fumes clear each time you try light the heater as when they build up they can be very dangerious, this is also why you should use the mirror to inspect. To keep your face away from any flair ups.
