Yesterday I went to use my phone and the screen was black and and I could not make calls. I could receive calls though?
Also a little blue light appeared on the little screen when the phone was closed. Was that the blue tooth light. I have never used this feature.

Since you just received a replacement phone under warranty yesterday, I would recommending contacting whoever you received the replacement phone from, whether that be your cellular provider or the Kyrocera company.
I have had the same problem. Looks like the slide cable is broken. I have managed to buy one and repaired the phone by myself, but it was not easy. This is a common problem by this phone.
Go to the shop and see if you stil have warrenty
I have a solution. Call at&t. they will send you a new one. I have had my phone for 5 months and it happened to me also. There's a warranty on the phone itself that covers it from the day "you" started using it. I bought mine from a friend. Cool!! It should be here in 5 days free shipping.

Hi, before sending it in or taking it to a
Motorola repair station, try this. Open phone turn it over so camera is facing you with finger behind and thumb of your right hand sweeze the area between camera lens and the vol up down button to reseat the ribbon connector that is located in that area between the cases. This worked for me and it is worth trying.
