The Ortho AllClear Cordless Power Mister charging cord requires a 5V DC power supply with a micro USB connector. You can purchase a replacement cord with these specifications at most electronics stores or online retailers. Make sure to verify that the voltage and connector type match the specifications of your device before purchasing a replacement cord.
Maybe your laptop is overheating. Does it power back on immediately when you were using the power cord or do you have to wait and let it sit a while to cool off before it powers back on?
Do you hear the fans running when you power on the laptop?
Laptops overheat because of: 1) Dust around the vents, CPU and Heat Sink. Dust inside the laptop. 2) A Fan that is not working 3) The Thermal Paste around the CPU and Heat Sink has dried up or is too thin to keep the laptop cool.
hi this can be purchased from somewhere like radio shack specs are Output: 5V 2000mA, centre is + positive so really just your standard adaptor will do, this also comes from the targus site hope that helps
Turn the computer off.
Disconnect the AC power.
Remove the battery.
Purchase a can of compressed-air, and give a "blow-job" to every possible orifice and vent in the casing of your computer.
Reconnect the battery & the AC power.
Possible heat issue. Check the cooling fans and see if theyre running. Usually one on the bottom, back or side of the laptop. Make sure that the cooling vents arent blocked during use.
I don't think you are dealing with a short in your system. Your battery is probably dead and/or needs to be charged. See if your new power cord will work and will turn your computer on. Make sure that you have the exact power cord that your specific system calls for, because not all laptop power cords are the same. I mean you can't just use any laptop power cord; it has to be one that is rightly built specifically for your laptop system.
The orignal power cord went out and our Toshiba laptop has a similar cord. The cord for my lap will work with the TV. But i dont know for how long. The tv is for my 5 yr old and we have never used it more than 4-8 hrs straight. You can purchase the cord for about $65 the model# A135-S2256. I hope this helps. I was actually looking for the orignal cord and i have been running into the same problem. So it looks like i'm going to purchase the Toshiba cord too.
