What is a stun baton?

A stun baton is basically like a baton except that it carries an electric charge. Some have a switch on the handle that the officer can switch when the baton is in contact with the assailant. Other types have a constant electric charge going through the baton, with an insulated handle, so if anyone is touching the baton (other than the handle) they will be shocked
