We replaced the lamp in a tv mitsubishi wd-62327 now there is a orange flashing indicator light....now what?

if the set is now working,its just a matter of resetting the lamp-hour counter in the on-screen menus.be sure to clean any filters associated with the fan which cools the bulb,or your new lamp wont last long!

What you need is to have the lamp timer reset. To do so, perform the following;

You will need two hands.

With the remote, press and hold down the "mute" button.

Simultaneously press and hold down the "enter" button on the front of the TV.

After about 5 seconds, a box will appear that shows the total number of hours on the lamp. To reset these hours, press the right arrow button on the remote. After doing so, another box will appear with a confirmation question and an icon for which button on the remote to press to reset the lamp hours.

IN24 Multimedia Projector: Orange light bulb light came on....does this mean ...

if it runs for a few minutes before shutting down, it could be the lamp. check to see if the seams of the lamp that are closest to the underside of the top cover have foil tape covering the seams, if not then this has been known to cause premature shutdown.

No lit / projected image even with a new bulb!

Let me add...

I had one 3300MP and removed/replaced the bulb to dust off as it was overheating. There is a small metal like switch that resets the bulb replacement (physical switch - take a good look) -- This helped to reset the first time I did this, but doesn't reset the hours on the chip.

However, since this bulb was problematic for me, I have done this a couple of times and since has stopped powering the bulb now. So, thinking it was the bulb, I replaced the bulb, -- No good... So, thinking it was the projector, I bought a new/refurbished one on ebay -- tested the NEW bulb - NO GOOD. now I have TWO PROJECTORS, THREE BULBS and NOTHING THAT WORKS...

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?
