Will not retrieve cd when selected - Kenwood DP-J1070 100-Disc CD Changer

Do one thing Downlaod a Hiren's Bootable CD from the net(it is Free to download). Hiren bootable Cd is a ISO file which you need to burn in CD after downlaoding. After you finish download boot your computer through CD( you need to select First bootable as CD/DVD from BIOS or from Boot Menu). After you boot from Hiren's CD there is a option called "load MINI XP" so you select it and you'll find a WIN XP in your screen which is running through the CD. Now select the Drive or Folder where ever your DATA are store and take back in any external Drive.
Remember you can retrieve your data if your window is not booting.

If you can received mms, but cant able to retrieve it. Go to message setting, select multimedia settings and select the MULTIMEDIA RETRIEVAL, select ALWAYS AUTOMATIC. thanks

There is a way but it will be difficult. There is a program for free on the net called "Bart's PE Builder", (Google for Bart's PE Builder). You have to download and read as much info as you can on how to use it, and build your PE or the CD rom you will need. You make a Boot-able CD with this program and your MP3 player will have to be set in the MSC mode as a Mass Storage device. This way PE builder can see it and you can use the "undelete program" to find your MP# files. Now all this MAY OR MAY NOT WORK. Lots of things depend on you being able to retrieve your files, such as, have you added anything to it since the delete, has the battery gone dead, on and on. BUT, IT DOES WORK I HAVE USED IT. It is to entailed to explain here how to build your CD and how to used the program. It is worth all the reading to get your stuff back. .

Press and hold copy. Enter password then press menu. Enter time, date, and camera number. Insert blank CD-R into cd drive. Press menu to move to next screen. Select add next option to put the time/date into the black dialog box. After it puts that info into the black box use the arrow keys to select create cd. This will burn the info from the black box onto the cd. DM dvrs also download viewing software along with the recorded video so you will be able to view it from any pc with a cd drive

Unplug the cd player and open the unit up by taking the top cover off..there will be screws holding it on on the underside. You should be able to retrieve the cd from inside. Your track is broken, you will need to replace it.

Before loading the new Printmaster, backup your printmaster files to a CD. The reloaded Printmaster 7.0 should find the data files on your system. You can also select your files off the backup CD.

1. Right click on My Computer and select Properties.

3. Right click on the scanner entry that is displaying a conflict.
4. Select Update Driver from the drop-down menu that appears. The Hardware Update Wizard appears.
5. Select Install from a list or specific location, then click Next.

6. Select the Don't search... option and then click Next.
7. Click Have Disk. The Install from Disk dialog appears.
8. Click Browse and select the Lexmark CD from the Look in drop-down list.
9. Double-click on Drivers.
10.Double-click click on Scan, select the lxbksxp file, and then click Open.

11.Click OK. The following screen appears:

13.When the installation is complete, click Finish to close the wizard.

This has just happened to us. Often when the changer tries to select a CD on random play, it somehow knocks one CD off the carousel, usually on top of the other 5 CDs and then you can retrieve it easily. This time it knocked it down behind the carousel so the drawer could not close. We left the drawer open, carefully took the player out and tipped it upside down and then tipped it forward. We then closed the drawer while it was still upside down and then turned the player back up the right way. The loose CD fell onto the carousel and we could then open it and retrieve the CD. No damage to either CD or changer and we are now listening to music again!
