I am having an issue with my Mirage IIse with transperancy adapter.
My ready light will not stay on steady so the computer does not recognize the scanner.
I have had it hooked up to a Blue and white G3 with a third party SCSI card.
It is the only device on the SCSI chain. I am running MAC OS 10.4.10.
I am using SilverFast Ai and it has been working great for several years.
I did take the glass off to get to my power button that gets stuck sometimes to release it.
But the power light remains lit while the UTA and READY lights blink on and off in a revolving pattern.
Do you have any thoughts on what my issue might be?
Thanks in advance,

The quick setup indicates that a steady green light means that it is ready, and there is no activity. A flashing green light means there is activity. That's all the further I can troubleshoot with you without knowing how you have it set up. If you continue to have issues, contact zBoost at [email protected] or 1-800-871-1612. They will be able to troubleshoot much better. If it turns out to be an issue with the device, it does come with a 1-year warranty, so they will be able to replace it. Customer Support
There could be many reasons for your problem from shorting something out while the motherboard was exposed to over heating the area at the power jack. My first and simplest suggestion would be to remove, and re-seat the memory modules. Are you sure you have good solder contacts on the jack you replaced?
Remove the battery and adapter. Press and hold the power button for 20 sec. Then connect the adapter and try to turn it on. If that works, shutdown the computer and put the battery back in and try once more. If it does not start with the adapter, check whether the adapter is good. If adapter is good, it is an issue with the laptop.
I have a 1999 Mirage 1.5 - with 225thou miles on it - my light stay's on too- I was told it was an O2 senser- but I noticed that the spark plugs come loose alot. When I tighten them and have my light reset it stays off till I need to adjsut them again-?
I have this scanner.... I had to take the scanner apart(take the cover off) very simple to do. This is a very simple fix. Obvious fix. You will see when you open it where the switch is. Mine was not making contact. You might be stuck with it in the on position once you fix it.
