Try looking for a patch or updated driver for your sound system in your PC, integrated or a sound card that should be available at the manufacturers website(for mobo or integrated/external sound). After updating it should work, rather it has to because sp3 is better suited than SP2 and generally microsoft itself distributes the patches & updates. Alternatively you can visit driverguide.com, become a free member and let the Drive probe tell you which driver, including version, your PC will require to play audio/stero sounds........sodeep

Hello,
You are proper uninstall audio driver and reinstall audio driver. because sp2 batch file different and sp3 batch file different. so may be audio batch file not match. If not solved then you reinstall windows and proper install all drivers.

My audio device is not working. so i want to sound driver for it.

Hello,
You can download all the drivers you need for Lenovo 3000 Y410 Laptop from the below link
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-68104.html#audio

Just scroll down the page for Audio drivers for both win XP and Vista, click on the blue version number to download the one you want.

Note : Incase you have win XP,some people has issues installing the xp driver with sp3 installed, the driver seems to work with only sp1 and sp2.So if u have SP3 and unable to install xp driver, do one of the following.
1) Uninstall SP3 and install SP2 and then try installing the driver for XP
2) Download Vista driver and install it with windows compatibility mode set to XP SP2.

Deinstall SP3. Nothing works with it.
If you can't deinstall it, you'll have to reinstall Windows, I'm sorry.

I hope this helps,
