This camera had been working fine until a couple of days ago. All of a sudden, when I turned it on the led screen came up normally and then shut itself off. I have tried replacing the batteries and deleted all photos from the camera thinking maybe that the card was full and that's why it keeps shutting off. Don't know what else to do with it. Help...please? Vivitar Vivicam Camera turns on briefly (1 second) and then immediately shuts down. Any solutions. Batteries are good so thats not it. When i try to turn it on, my camera goes to the logo screen and then turns itself off. It's only like 6 months old too. Can someone please help me with this. I know i'm not the only one out there with this problem. Thank you. I appreciate it.
Format the SD memory card.
Get the 5 volt charger and charge 3 hours.
Format the internal memory.
Menu button and change to power save.
Do not use the flash all the time.

i went to the beach yesterday and i DID NOT drop it in the sand or at all OR get water on it. i have had mine for 2 months i got it for my birthday. and it will turn on shoe the kodak camera logo thing then sgut right back off. i went into the properties and it said it was 100% battery so its fully charged. i dont know wat to do and i need it for prom TODAY!!!!!!!!
