You will not be able to register it as it is alread registered to the other computer,unless they are exactly alike. Then using a hard drive backup and restore program is the best and easiest way to do it.
Just back up the date from the XP on the restore it to the 2k one. Again .This wil only work if they are exactly alike,down to the CPU type plus.
Open My computer, then My network places. Then open View network connections. Your connection should say "Local area connection". Right click it and make sure it's set to "Enabled". Then Right click it then select repair.
