The TV all of a sudden one night just turned itself off .When you turn the power on it comes on for about 3 seconds then it turns itself off. We call Mitsubshi and told us to turn off for 20 min and turn on again but that didn't work. Did the bulb go out? Any suggestions?
Do you have any sound? If not, open the panel and press the menu and input buttons and the same time, count to three and then there will be a code flashed, it will flash a t least once followed by a pause and then a nother set of flashes let me know

If the tv is still under warranty, this can be repaired at no charge.
However, if not under warranty, you will need to have the CAPACITORS on the main power supply circuit board tested (or replaced).
The capacitors responsible for the power supply can sometimes fail - open the back panel. If the capacitors on the main power supply board look too fat, or signs of burning near the solder joints, then you've found the problem.
You will have to call an Authorized Panasonic Servicer. Any modules bought from them requires an authorization. Since your not a service center, it's going to be almost impossible for you to do anything. Play it safe and have it looked at.
so, you have a television that turns off immediately after you turn it on.
It sound like your power supply on the unit is out. Because I don't know the value of your unit I cannot comment on replacing the unit. But I would recommend that you use our website to find a Flat Panel TV Repairman near you. You may want to call to get an estimate on replacing the power supply before considering replacing the unit.
