We have a pair of Thermadore ovens. Model X302XP. The unit continually starts beeping and displaying the F24 code. The beeping stops if we press the off button or open and close the oven door. We had a...

You need a new ''Control Panel'' (which is the main computer). The parts are QUITE AVAILABLE. These guys really annoy the heck out of me with their ''obsolete'' bulloney stories. Here's a link to sears list of parts for your stove. You'll notice there are dozens of control boards. They have different features and colors. Merely pick the correct one for your stove. (Control panels begin at #44 on the list. So, look at #'s 44 through 51. One of them is the one you need.)

Ps... I am certain you need the ''Control Panel''

What is Kenmore double oven error code "F7" mean?

For the F7 error code:

Here is a test to find out whether its your control panel or control board:

Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

What color is your key panel? Black or White?

My control panel on a whirlpool oven rbd305pds15 now shows E6 F2 codes and I am not sure what they mean??? How do I fix this?

An F2 E6 error means that there is a problem with the keypad. Make sure that the keypad wire is firmly connected to the control board. Then press Cancel. If the error returns in 60 seconds, you need to replace the keypad. With some Whirlpool ovens the keypad and control board are a single unit and you will need to replace the entire assembly.

For this oven, it seems that the control panel assembly is available here: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5139596&diagram_id=28216054 (On the Control Panel diagram, there are three listed - pick the one that matches your oven color.) The price depends on the color option.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for posting that information. This code is in reference to the touch pad(membrane switch). This is linked to the main board assembly. One or more of the buttons on this part are damaged(stuck). The necessary actions are to replace the touch pad panel.

What color is your control panel? Black or white?

I have just installed a new electronic control in my JTP45 Electric double oven. (part WB27K5273). I have a schematic, but so far have not figured out why that when I open the door the unit turns off and...

It does sound like a wiring mistake. Check all the connections and the wire colors against the colors on the Tech Sheet wiring diagram (which is normally taped on inside the control panel). Particularly look closely at how the door switch and lock connector is plugged in. You may have reversed the plug.

I get a F3 code on the control panel and the oven doesn't seem to regulate the temperature anymore model 68HN6TVW

check the temperature sensor probe and harness as f3 code refers to that..
you will need to pull the range out from the wall and disconnect from power and remove the panels that cover the control panel and sensor probe area at the back of the oven.
Check sensor harness and harness connection between oven sensor and oven control. Replace oven temperature sensor (RTD) if wiring is ok.
sensor is part# 12001656 - Oven Sensor Kit 7" Long around 30-40 dollars plus shipping and tax, depending...
hope this helps,
best of luck,

Kenmore gas Range -- Control Panel not working

Hi. your assessment is correct. when you have normal operations with the stove top and the control panel is blank or non operational, this will confirm either a wiring harness issue or a dead control circuit board. The wiring harness can sometimes become lose or the connectors can become corroded but, in this issue, i am sure its the ECB(electroninc control board). In this case, you will have to replace the board it self.

Please rate and god bless:)

Control panel disassembly

Shut the breaker off to the oven first. Frame around mircowave is a snapped on front. Removing allows access to two screws under control panal. Must actually pull entire unit out about 9 inches to access top of control area to remove access panel. Once front control panel is removed and top is opened, easy access to what you need to get to. Carefully write down color coding of wires before removing any of them. Remove old power supply board and display and reconnect. Reverse process. A bit of work but if you watch the disassembly process carefully, pretty easy.
